Summer Retreat: August 21-23
We’ve got a fun weekend planned for young adults (18-35)! The summer retreat at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Ottawa will include games, worship, time at the beach, food, and fellowship with other young adults. Register now and spread the word!

Schedule
Friday August 21st:
Arrive anytime after 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 21st
Games, social time, and snacks
Saturday August 22nd:
Saturday morning ~10 a.m. – noon: Bible study led by Rev. Aaron Astley
Saturday afternoon ~after lunch: Visit to Petrie Island
We’ll spend the afternoon at Petrie Island, which has two beaches, trails, and picnic areas. Bring your bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, etc.
Saturday evening: Dinner, worship and music at the church
Saturday night: Games and snacks
Sunday August 23rd:
Divine Service at 9:30 a.m., Lunch and farewell
Accommodations
We’ll be sleeping overnight in the church. Bring a sleeping bag & mat/air mattress etc.,
and anything else needed for an overnight stay. All meals & snacks will be provided!
Fees
We’ll be collecting a $30 flat rate to cover the expenses (food etc.) on the Saturday of the retreat. Cash or e-transfer will be accepted. (If funds are a challenge, please come anyway- just talk to a board member before/during the retreat and we’ll make something work!)
